A last-gasp try to the Blues has denied the QR Reds victory in their second Investec Super 14 trial match, played at Ballymore Stadium.

The Reds appeared to have secured a victory leading 19-18 going into the final five minutes of the match, but a costly error allowed Blues substitute George Pisi to crash over and set up a 25-19 win for the Aucklanders with the last play of the game.
