The QR Reds became farmhands for a day during a three day pre-season trip to country Queensland.

The trip was also an opportunity for Reds and Wallaby fly half Berrick Barnes to visit his old primary school in Kingaroy.

The players left the footballs and tackle bags behind to work up a sweat with some team-building activities on the Kingaroy farm run by former Australian and Queensland fast bowler Carl Rackemann.

The Reds’ team management lined up a day's outdoor activities on the Rackemann farm which involved working as a team on tasks such as putting up some fencing.

The players also visited Kingaroy Hospital Children's Ward before returning to Brisbane.
