Ben Lucas
Ben Lucas is a gifted playmaker and goal kicker who claimed a personal tally of 35 points, including two tries, in Sunnybank's record 85-19 win over the Gold Coast in the 2007 Trinity Premier Rugby Grand Final.
Ben has an impressive rugby resume having represented his state and country at schoolboy level and in 2007 was selected in the Australian Sevens team.
His excellent 2007 form was recognised with a Mazda Australian Rugby Championship contract and six appearances with the MFS East Coast Aces.
A member of the Reds Academy, Ben was invited to train with the Reds in 2007-8 with a view to full squad involvement in the ensuing 12 months.
Made his debut off the bench against the Brumbies in March 2008 and went on to establish himself as a starting scrumhalf. Rewarded with selection for Australia A in the 2008 iRB Pacific Nations Cup.
