Rob Simmons
A product of The Southport School, Robert has been part of the elite pathway since representing QLD and Australian schoolboys in 2006 as a member of the National Talent Squad.
In 2007 Robert was a member of the Reds Academy and played Australian U19s before finishing the season with the MFS East Coast Aces in the inaugural Mazda Australian Rugby Championship and being rewarded with a contract with the Reds.
An excellent athlete with size, speed, and ball skills, Robert played both colts and Premier rugby for Sunnybank in 2007, making his Premier debut off the bench against Sunshine Coast in round 13, but missing their Grand Final victory over the Gold Coast because of suspension.
Robert was a member of the Australian Under 20 side at the 2008 Junior World Championship in Wales.
