Sean Hardman
Persistence and toughness personified, Sean has not always been the selectors' first choice hooker for Queensland but was always determined to prove them wrong - and invariably fought his way back to the top of the pecking order.
His toughness was demonstrated when he put aside a medial ligament tear in his knee to finish the 2006 season in the run-on team for the second half of the season.
Sean has played for the Wallabies and Australia at 'A' and at U-21 level. In 2004 he was the winner of the award for the Reds Most Reliable Player.
Sean earned his 100th cap in the opening game of the Investec Super 14 tournament, celebrating with an important win over the Hurricanes at Suncorp Stadium.
His reliability and determination was rewarded with selection for the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France, where he played against Canada in the final pool match of the tournament, and in the Australia A squad for the iRB Pacific Nations Cup.
Away from rugby, Sean is looking to build a career in commercial property.
