John Eales
One of the premier lineout men in world rugby in his time, John was the undisputed star of the Wallabies 1991 World Cup victory and is one of only five players to have won the World Cup twice, the others being Dan Crowley, Phil Kearnes, Jason Little and Tim Horan..
John began his representative career as a lock, but later switched between the second-row and back-row and was a useful long-range goal kicker.
John retired from international rugby having amassed 86 caps, with a record 52 as captain. In total he scored 173 points, 163 of which had come from his trusty right boot.
He scored a total of 402 points in the Super 12 competition with 6 tries, 66 conversions and 80 penalties for the Reds, a record not bettered by any forward in the competition's history.
