Mark became the most capped player in Queensland history with 134 appearances when he ran out against the Highlanders in the last game of the 2006 season, breaking Andrew Slack's long-standing record of 133 caps.

 

He returned to the Reds for one year in 2006 after three seasons in England and Japan.

 

He was part of the 1995 Reds team that won the Super 10 and a member of the 1999 Australian World Cup winning squad.

 

Mark made his debut for Queensland on the 1994 tour of Argentina, returning to that country 11 years later with the 2005 squad.
