Terms of Use

The promoter of the ‘Reds Facebook Ticket Offer’ (Ticket Offer) is the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU).
The Ticket Offer begins on Friday 20 July 2012 at 1:00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and ends on Friday 20 July at 3:00pm (Australian Standard Time) (Ticket Offer Period) or until the allocation is exhausted.
Tickets must be bought through Ticketek during the Ticket Offer Period.
QRU reserves the right to either allow or disallow any receipt of cap for any reason it sees fit in its absolute discretion.
Every ticket buyer (Ticket Buyer) may each be awarded only one (1) Reds cap (Prizes)
This document, the instructions on how to take advantage of the Ticket Offer and other details contained within promotional advertisements, each form part of the Terms and Conditions.
QRU accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected tickets.
Each Ticket Buyer who purchases during the Ticket Offer Period will receive a Reds cap which can be redeemed upon presentation of their match ticket at one of the Information Desks located at the North and South end of Suncorp Stadium. Please note these desks are located within the stadium so please entry using your ticket and then collect your cap.
The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Each Ticket Buyer must claim their cap on Saturday 21 July 2012 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time). Caps must be claimed in person. The collection of prizes is the sole responsibility of the Ticket Buyer. Caps will only be awarded following validation and verification.
In the event that a Ticket Buyer fails to satisfy any of the Terms and Conditions of the Ticket Offer, that Winner shall not be entitled to the cap.
The cap must be taken as stated and is non-transferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash. If the specified cap becomes unavailable for any reason, QRU may substitute a prize of like or equal value
QRU makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, merchantability of any of the goods or services offered. To the extent permitted by law, QRU is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to personal property and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by QRU, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the Ticket Buyer and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the Ticket Buyer.
All Ticket Buyers remain the property of QRU and may be entered into a database for future marketing or promotional activities. By participating in this Competition, entrants accept that the information contained in the entry may be used in promotional activities of QRU. The Ticket Buyers agree to participate in QRU’s marketing materials for the purposes of promoting the Ticket Offer. QRU will not use the entrants’ personal information for any other purpose without their consent unless required or authorised to do so by law. Ticket Buyers must notify QRU in writing if they would like to amend their personal information or if they have any queries as to how their personal information will be used.
QRU and its related entities, employees, contractors, servants or agents shall not be liable for and accept no responsibility for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property arising out of or in conjunction with the Ticket Offer either during or after the Ticket Offer except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
QRU is not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
QRU assumes no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft or unauthorised access to or alternation of entries. Subject to any written directions given under the applicable law, if for any reason, the Ticket Offer is not capable of operating as planned, including infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of QRU which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then QRU reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Ticket Offer. QRU reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:

(a) tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries, or any other process as determined by QRU that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion;
(b) tampering with the operation of the Ticket Offer or the web site of QRU;
(c) acting in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or
(d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Participation in the Ticket Offer constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The Ticket Buyer is responsible for insuring his or her familiarity with the Terms and Conditions. QRU decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Terms and Conditions generally.
This Ticket Offer is subject to QRU’s Privacy Policy.
The logos used and published in connection with this Ticket Offer are trade marks or and are owned by QRU and/or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced, altered or used for any purpose without the express written permission of QRU
