Liam Wright will look to build on his breakout maiden Super Rugby season and he enters his second year with the St.George Queensland Reds in 2019. The young flanker came off the bench to make his Reds debut against the Rebels in Round 2 and went on to play 12 matches for Queensland. A torn hamstring cut his 2018 NRC campaign with Queensland Country short after suffering the injury in Round 2 against the Rising in Townsville. His 2017 season included an undefeated national title with the Queensland U20s, Player of the Year honours with the Australian U20s, a National Rugby Championship title with Bond University Queensland Country, an exhibition game for Australia against the Barbarians and a call up to the Wallabies spring tour as a development player.
