After making his Super Rugby debut in 2018, Harry Hockings will be looking to capitalise on his experience in 2019 with the St.George Queensland Reds. Originally from Bowen in North Queensland, Hockings first developed a love for Rugby at the Bowen Mudcrabs. At 206cm tall, Hockings is the tallest member of the Reds squad and seems destined for lofty heights in the game, with Reds head coach Brad Thorn claiming the 19-year-old has the potential to play 100 Tests for Australia – high praise from a man who has achieved so much in the game. He impressed as a member of the Queensland and Australian U20 programs, followed by a season as a regular starter for Bond University Queensland Country in their run to the National Rugby Championship title in 2017, before backing that up in 2018 and playing a vital role in Country’s 2018 campaign.
