2019 will be Angus Scott Young’s second year in the St.George Queensland Reds squad after making his debut in Round 3 against the Brumbies the previous year. Son of former Wallabies enforcer Sam Scott-Young, Angus has spent the last four years working closely with Reds coach Brad Thorn. It’s been a fruitful time for Scott-Young, who enjoyed the success of back-to-back titles with the Queensland U20s, selection in the Australian U20s, a Hospital Cup win with University of Queensland and, finally, a historic first National Rugby Championship title with Bond University Queensland Country.
*Please note, the scoring in the National Rugby Championship changed from seasons 1 and 2 to season 3. In 2014 and 2015 tries were worth 5 points, conversions 3 points, penalties/drop goals 2 points. In 2016, tries were worth 6 points, conversions/penalty goals/drop goals 2 points.
