The Queensland Reds medical team will be re-opening Ballymore at 9am today to give anyone affected by the Queensland floods free medical assistance.
Reds Doctor Greg Smith will lead a team at Ballymore for the second straight day to treat patients with non-critical injuries that resulted from this week’s floods, free of charge.
The service offered is available for all those who endured minor injuries resulting from their cleanup efforts yesterday or alternatively for those in areas where their local GP is either closed or unavailable this weekend.
Saturday’s efforts saw many receive treatment to wounds they suffered as volunteers, while other used the opportunity to receive a free tetanus shot.
The Queensland Reds will assist Dr Smith to provide all medical supplies that are required. The consultations will be free of charge to patients.
Reds staff will be on hand to direct and assist patients.
When: Sunday January 16 from 9am to 4pm
Venue: Ballymore, 321 Butterfield St. Entrance off Clyde Road
