Junior Wallabies named for final Test against Argentina

The Junior Wallabies side to play Argentina at the World Rugby U20s Championship Fifth Place Final has been named as Australia fights for a fifth placed ranking. 

St.George Queensland Reds lock Harry Hockings will extend his leadership role on the field being named vice captain for the clash with Sunnybank’s Isaac Lucas returning to the side via the bench. 

Junior Wallabies Head Coach Jason Gilmore said: “Argentina presents a unique challenge for us and for everyone in the squad it’ll be their first time playing Argentina. 

“They have played some really good Rugby at this tournament and have threats in both the forwards and backs.

“Our team has prepared well throughout the week and we are looking forward to the match as we aim to finish 2018 on a high.” 

Argentina come into the Fifth Place Final having accounted for Wales 39-15. 

Australia will play Argentina U20s at Stade de la Mediterranee, Béziers, with the match to kick off at 10pm on Sunday 17 June. The match will be broadcast LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
