Flanker Jack Cornelsen impressed selectors throughout the 2016 BLK Queensland Premier Rugby competition where he represented University of Queensland.

Son of former Queensland and Wallaby great, Greg Cornelsen, he demonstrated a strong Rugby ability at a young age. At schoolboy level, Cornelson represented both Queensland and Australia in 2011 and 2012.

More recently he has played Rugby Sevens for Queensland and Australia, as well as excelling in the 15 a-side format where his pace is an asset to the University line up that fell short in the Premier Rugby grand final. 2016 will be the Gold Coast junior’s second year in the squad.
