James Slipper has rapidly developed into one of the elite prop forwards in Australian Rugby, becoming Australia’s most-capped Test prop in 2015. One of the Reds’ best since making his debut in 2010, Slipper won the Pilecki Medal for Player’s Player of the year in 2013 and 2014, along with the People’s Choice, Spirit of the Reds Award and the Rugby Union Players’ Association Medal for Excellence in 2014. 

 

Slipper is a product of Gold Coast Rugby nursery the Southport School, where he won the 2006 championship with fellow Queensland Country and Wallabies teammate, Rob Simmons.
