University of Sunshine Coach Barbarians searching for A Grade head coach ahead of 2018 season

 

The University of the Sunshine Coast Barbarians Rugby Union Club is seeking a suitable candidate for our A Grade (and Senior) head coach position for 2018. The head coach would work with a team of coaches, including an A Grade assistant coach and our second grade coaches to develop the senior squad in 2018. The head coach would be in control of the senior squad’s tactical play, development and our A grade team.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has a strong focus on team culture, both on and off the field. Key characteristics that we are looking for are as follows:

· Level 2 coaching certificate.

· Creating a positive and all-inclusive team environment.

· Outstanding Rugby knowledge, and strong knowledge of modern game play and player development.

· Ability to manage players and volunteers.

· Ability to work with the other team’s coaching staff for the overall benefit of the team.

· Ability to organise, design and implement training programs consistent with the club’s values.

· Strong focus on player develop and ensuring they enjoy the game.

In addition to the above role, and for a suitable candidate, we have a paid Assistant Rugby Director Role available with a local Private Rugby School. This role is optional and comes with the view to become the Director of Rugby at the School for 2019. Remuneration and hours are negotiable based on the applicant’s experience and suitability.

Caboolture Snakes in search of coaches and managers for 2018

 

Caboolture Rugby Club, one of the up and coming clubs in Queensland, is seeking expressions of interest for all Coaching & Management positions. Positions are available across the club in the following age groups:

· U6, U7, U10 & U11

· Under 17/18 forwards coach, backs coach & trainer

· We are also seeking female coaches or coaches with an interest in developing women’s rugby to provide support for our U12, 14, 16 & U18 girls Rugby Sevens program

Our club is dedicated to competitive Rugby, and currently compete in the Queensland Suburban Rugby Union Competitions Barber Cup and Pegg Cup. Essentially all positions are volunteer appointments, however, the club runs an extensive volunteer recognition program to support and recognise our volunteer workforce including accreditation and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Smart Rugby Compliant and have an ARU coaching Level I as minimum. Level 1 and preferably level 2 is desirable for U17

2. Innovative coaches with the ability to plan, design, implement and review training programs consistent with the clubs values and philosophy to ensure athlete development and enjoyment.

3. Proven experience and success at an equivalent level or similar environment essential.

4. Demonstrated ability to manage players, staff and volunteers.

5. Excellent Rugby knowledge within contemporary contexts.

6. Current Blue Card or ability to attain.

Ipswich Rangers coaching & management positions available for 2018

 

Ipswich Rangers Rugby Union Club has a proud history of being a leader in the development and promotion of Rugby Union throughout the Ipswich and Western Corridor regions of South East Queensland. Ipswich Rangers are currently seeking applications from highly motivated coaches and managers who would like to be involved in our Senior Program for the 2018 season. The 2018 season will mark the clubs 50th year.

The Ipswich Rugby Union Club’s senior teams play as part of the Queensland Suburban Rugby Union (QSRU) competitions. QSRU competitions commence late March to early April, and run through until mid to late August.

Successful applications will be responsible for the management of the senior playing group and are expected to abide by the ARU injury protocols working closely with our sports medicine officers in managing the health and safety of the players.

If you are passionate about grassroots Rugby, player development and club promotion and believe you have the experience to join the club in this capacity, you are encouraged to apply, in writing, detailing your qualifications and previous experience.

Riverside Rebels coaching positions available for 2018

The Riverside Rebels Rugby Union Club is situated in Bulimba and are about to compete in their sixth season of the Queensland Suburban Rugby Competition. After five successful years, including achieving a premiership in 2014, the club is looking to put forward two very competitive teams for competition in 2018.

We are seeking applications from Coaches to join our coaching team in 2018.

St Edmunds College Ipswich 1st XV Rugby Head Coach for 2018

Applications are now open for a suitable candidate to work with our First XV for the AIC Rugby 2018 season. The Head Coach position would work alongside an Assistant Coach and in conjunction with this have the use of our college strength conditioning coach and also an appointed manager during the short 7 week AIC Rugby season. The players will commence the first phase of their preseason starting in Term 4 in late October 2018. The college is now seeking two individuals to run the coaching side of this team. We seek candidates who are passionate about their rugby and have the drive to meet the challenge of improving our First XV performance.

The following criteria have been determined as key indicators in selecting the successful candidate:

  • Level 2 coaching certificate
  • Smart Rugby accreditation
  • Creating a Positive team environment
  • Conducting planned and structured coaching sessions
  • Good communication skills with players and other stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of effective/successful/modern forward play and set piece
  • Ability to work with the other team’s coaching staff for the overall benefit of the team

Nerang Bulls Rugby Union - Head Coach 2018

Applications are now open for Nerang Bulls Rugby Union Club Head Coach for the 2018 season. Nerang Bulls are a small but enthusiastic club with a proud history of high achievement in the Gold Coast rugby competition. Last season our seniors were very unfortunate and just missed out on a Grand Final spot. The club is based in Carrara on the Gold Coast and is only 15 minutes from the beach and boasting one of if not the best field on the Gold Coast.

The Club is seeking an Individual that has serious drive and passion for the game and to help and improve our senior team become a strong force once again. The individual must be able to connect with players individually and as a team.

GPS Rugby Club Seeking Coaches For Season 2018

GPS Rugby Club is seeking suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches for the 2018 season.

We have a variety of positions available at the club with scope to be involved with premier rugby opportunities available for the right candidate.

Helensvale Rugby Club - Expressions of Interest

The number one community rugby union club on the Gold Coast is currently seeking suitable personnel to fill a number of senior coaching and management roles for season 2018. The club currently fields four senior men’s teams in the Gold Coast District Competition along with women’s and colt’s teams in Brisbane Competitions. In 2017 all four teams in the Gold Coast qualified for finals with the club taking out the 3rd and 2nd grade competitions, the club is aiming for even greater success in 2018.
