
There are a range of opportunities for Women to play Rugby Union in Queensland. Club competitions are run in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Cairns. Each year Queensland Rugby Union sends a Queensland side to the ARU National Championships.
Queensland Women's Sevens Team Tour Details
The Queensland Women's Sevens teams will take part in the 2012 National Championships held at St Ignatius Riverview in Sydney. The Championships take place from the 13th of April to the 15th of April
2012 Training
Open Training sessions for the Queensland Women's teams will commence at Ballymore on Wednesday March 14th at 6pm. Any and all players wishing to be selected for the Queensland Women's Sevens teams are encouraged to attend and make themselves known to coaching staff.

Wallaroos
Queensland has a proud tradition of providing players to the National Women's Rugby team.
Six members of the 2010 Queensland Women's team were selected in the Wallaroos to represent Australia at the 2010 Women's World Cup. These representatives were Iliseva Batibasaga, Cheyenne Campbell, Shannon Parry, Tricia Brown, Silei Poluleuligaga and Se'ei Sa'u.
